You've probably heard the phrase "you have to spend money to make money," and it's actually very true...
I'll use myself as an example here:
In my first business...
In hindsight, I was hesitant to invest money in my business because I wasn't sure if it was ultimately going to be profitable...
👆 at the end of the day that was a direct reflection of the lack of belief I had in myself, my ability to build a profitable business and my ability to succeed.
Fast forward to my current business...
I learned a thing or two the first time around! Now I know that my success is up to me, and that everything is figureoutable, so I:
And here's what happened...
I don't always love to talk about money or share results like this, but here's the thing... income is a huge part of building a business. That's just the truth of it. Oh, and also... IT'S OK TO MAKE MONEY (!) and be compensated for delivering results.
It's wonderful to help people and make a difference, but if you're not making money in the process what you've built is a very time consuming hobby.
And not only that...
Despite the fact that most of us would probably do the work we love for free, it creates some funky energetic vibes if you're giving, giving, giving and not being compensated fairly in return.
Consider this a friendly reminder:
When you invest in the right products or services that help you run your business, like opting for software you can grow into, hiring a business coach, or outsourcing tasks to an assistant... spending the money is worth it.
As you grow so does your business... and as your business grows, so do you! It's a wonderful thing. The only regret you'll have (if you're anything like me) is not investing sooner!
